eHealthPartners Recognized as One of the Southeast’s Fastest Growing Private Companies
Atlanta, GA. – September 22, 2006 – eHealthPartners®, Inc., a leading healthcare payer information technology services company, today announced that the company has been selected to participate in the GBS Eagles program, an exclusive network of entrepreneurs, advisors and capital sources designed to promote successful business practices in the region. The GBS Eagles program was launched in 2004 by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Corporate Growth (CECG) at Emory’s Goizueta Business School (GBS) and Innovations Publishing.
More than 240 private companies across the Southeast participate in Emory’s Eagles program. Senior executives and founders of Eagles companies are invited to attend exclusive networking events, panel sessions and conferences throughout the year.
“It is truly an honor to be part of GBS Eagles, a program that honors Southeast companies that have achieved leadership and sustainable growth,” said Jake McQueen, eHealthPartner’s President & CEO. “Our management team and employees have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to our customer’s success which has in turn fueled our rapid growth.”
In addition to being privately held, companies that are named GBS Eagles must meet the following criteria:
- Generated more than $3 million in revenue during the last 12 months;
- Exhibited annual revenue growth in excess of 20 percent compounded over the past three years or experienced headcount growth in excess of 25 percent compounded over the past three years.
“The mission of the GBS Eagles program is to give participating companies insight into the critical issues that high-growth companies face throughout the business lifecycle, and to help these companies identify the processes that address these issues,” said Edward Hess, executive director of the CECG. “The companies recognized as GBS Eagles have realized incredible success in the face of these very issues. As a result, they are able to help one another overcome the challenges that all growing companies face.”
eHealthPartners also received the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Pacesetter Award in April, 2006 and was ranked 13th among the top 50 fastest growing companies in Atlanta.
